Privacy Policy
Last Updated: June 24, 2026. This policy outlines how we collect, store, encrypt, and secure your personal identification data.
1. Information We Collect
ROGX collects personal information to meet strict anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-fraud directives. The data we collect includes:
- **Identity Credentials**: Legal first name, last name, date of birth, and identity document numbers (National Identification Number [NIN] or Voter's Card ID).
- **Contact Information**: Active email address, primary phone number, and WhatsApp contact details.
- **Verification Media**: Real-time webcam snapshots or 3-second live face validation video loops captured directly through the compliance panel.
- **Document Uploads**: Clear scanned images of your national identity cards or voter cards.
- **Usage Metadata**: IP addresses, location estimates, browser types, and referral information.
2. How We Use Your Data
Your personal information is used exclusively for operational and regulatory purposes:
- To confirm that the name registered on your bank account matches the verified onboarding record before processing Naira (NGN) transfers.
- To detect, isolate, and prevent fraudulent third-party bank inflows or money laundering.
- To review onboarding verification tickets and update users on their review status via WhatsApp or email.
- To debug system performance, calculate regional volumes, and enforce localized access boundaries.
3. Data Protection & Security
ROGX implements premium security protocols to defend your data against unauthorized disclosure, leakage, or modification:
All uploaded identity documents, face snapshots, and live videos are encrypted immediately upon upload. Saved files reside inside restricted directories (`uploads/`) with hashed, randomized file names to prevent direct URL exposure.
Our databases and local logs are secured behind strict firewall barriers. Session details, including admin panel credentials, are handled via encrypted HTTP-only cookies to eliminate cross-site scripting (XSS) risks.
4. Data Retention Limits
We do not store your identification parameters indefinitely. If an onboarding ticket is declined by an operator due to mismatching metadata or low-quality documents:
We delete all related database fields and purge physical file assets (selfie photo base64, video clips, and NIN scans) immediately from our servers to maintain data minimization compliance. Approved account logs are preserved only for the duration of the trader's active relationship with our OTC desk.
5. Third-party Disclosures
We do not lease, sell, or trade your personal verification records to corporate data harvesters, advertising networks, or third-party marketing firms.
Data is shared strictly with regulatory authorities, banking partners, or legal desks in the event of an active investigation into banking fraud, fraudulent third-party Naira transfers, or under legal subpoena from competent authorities in Nigeria.
6. Your Rights & Access
You retain the right to query the personal details stored on our databases, request amendments to correct mistyped details, or request full deletion of your compliance logs.
For privacy queries or request filings, please connect with our active Compliance Desk operators via the dedicated email channels at support@rogx.limited.
